Happy New Year!

It was my first new years eve away from home, felt a bit strange, but then i was excited about having a whole new experience.

It wasn't much exciting though, infact my new years eve was nowhere close to exciting because i was working that evening, had a shift from 5 to 11. But we had some fun after 11pm when i went to my friend's workplace where her shift ended at the same time. We had a nice time.

It was terribly cold and windy (and windy = thandi, as i always say :P ) around -25 degree celsius. There were not too many people at the times square to see the famous ball drop. I was disappointed that i will be missing it but when i saw it on tv, i was glad that i didnt go there, firstly it was cold, secondly, it was just a stupid ball drop and thirdly, this time they had no fireworks ( due to recession )...no fireworks on new years eve...i mean whats that...its like...no cake on birthday....

Anyway, its a whole new year, in a new place...alright i have already spent here one quarter of the previous year but still...theres so much more to explore....and im happily blogging away some substantial crap :P

P.S:- i always end up finding some side business at my workplace, recent one being blogging, considering the whole amount of free time we get in the second shift (i know ankur, you are going to comment on the last part...)

@Arpita ...
Boy what was that.. It seemed ur blog went into recession and it appeared as if ur posts had been drawn to the sub-prime crisis "shit" and then suddenly one day out of blue you churn out post after post. 3 in a single day. It was like resume's of satyam employee being put up on job portals...

Not bad.. Not bad at all ... one just hopes you would be a little more consistent, though ... that's what I feel..

By the way CROSS - CULTURE AFFECTS HAS clearly been visible in your posts. for eg "20$ bill", the last word is not one usually uses in this country...

Well...i think its obvious that the word '$20 bill" is used in which country...

And i was wondering why you kept visiting my blogpage eventhough there were no posts for a very long time...wonder why there wasnt any recession in that area....

Not bad.. Not bad at all ... one just hopes you would be a little more consistent, though ... that's what I feel..

I'll try to... but won't promise anything. May I add that it was ur new year gift!!! :P

By the way, what's wrong in "Criticsm". The way I see it you should consider urself lucky to have atleast one critic... unlike me, who hasn't got readers, much less a critic!

You write well, you know it! What good will it do to you if everyone just appreciates ur skills. A criticism on the other hand tells you ur follies thus can help u in polishing ur skills...

Ofcourse... That's what I feel..

Thanks for the new year gift...i like it :)

And i agree that there is nothing wrong with criticism and i appreciate your comments and everybody elses too and i know its good to have a critic, it does help :)
btw if u give me the link to your blogpage, i can assure you will have one more reader (and maybe a critic too) :P

If You want to read my blog I can send you the link in private... through email..

And for that I need your ID.
Thx for ur curiosity though!
